Experience made the difference to voters in Tuesday’s Democratic primary for two House seats representing Morristown, Elmore, Woodbury and Worcester.
A political veteran, Dave Yacovone of Morristown, and an incumbent, Avram Patt of Worcester, won a five-way race for the two Democratic slots available on the ballot Nov. 8.
Yacovone won 789 votes, 505 of them in Morristown; Patt earned 587 votes.
Marci Young finished third with 375, Aimee Towne fourth with 308 and Judy Bickford fifth with 195.
