What I Believe

  • No one should become a pauper due to high health care costs. Health care spending in Vermont is increasing on average $650,000 every day. We can rein in costs without hurting Vermonters by reducing administrative expenses which are $1 million per day!
  • Property taxes must be based on our income and not on what our property might sell for, which has little to do with our ability to pay.
  • In the end what matters most to me has little to do with the wealth we might acquire or the possessions we might accumulate or the power we might amass. In the end what matters most to me is how we care for those who are the frailest and most vulnerable among us.
